Welcome to the second edition of our customer newsletter. As the weather heats up outside, things are also starting to heat up for PolicyStat. We have signed up at least one new customer per month since last summer, and already in 2010 we have had more than ten new facilities join us.
We are grateful for our present customer momentum, and we place a high value on customer success. We realize that our solution is much more than our webbased software application – our solution includes every aspect of our relationship with you. For this reason we are always looking for ways to enhance the value we provide you – through our regular new product features, our new support web site or even through this newsletter.

The PolicyStat solution is a critical element of any Healthcare IT strategy because of the business value it delivers – improving quality and patient safety, enhancing productivity, and mitigating risks. Our latest release contains some state of the art functionality our customers have asked for. Here are a few of the highlights:
Multi-Site Viewing - allows users to browse between all of their sites using a simple dropdown box.
Policy Preview Link - right from the policy editor, users can see the policy exactly as it will appear to everyone else.
Policy Drafts - now approved users can view the draft of a policy authored by another person. This will help facilitate communication and collaboration.
Advanced Reporting - continued enhancements and analytics
Georgetown Community Hospital is a 75-bed acute care facility with an award-winning history of providing excellence in healthcare. Georgetown has been named as one of the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” for five out of the last six years.
Like many facilities, Georgetown was faced with the mounting challenge of how to tackle their policies and procedures. With roughly 1800 policies, Georgetown was looking for an online solution that came with an easy to understand and easy to use user interface. They wanted simple yet robust searching capabilities, the ability to monitor quickly and easily those policies that were soon to be expiring and an electronic means to approve and activate policies. The implementation process is well under way and the system is live.
The PolicyStat Advisory Board members are some of the most respected people in the healthcare community. We recognize the value in having outside influences as our organization and product take shape. These influences allow us to gain valuable insight as to what is important to the various constituencies associated with PolicyStat and helps us shape the direction of our organization.
